EXEMPLARY PROGRAM AWARDS
NCWE will present awards in two categories at the Annual Conference: Credit Workforce Development Program and Noncredit Workforce Development Program. These awards will be chosen based on six criteria: executive summary, description of partnerships and collaborations, potential economic impact, program outcomes and impact, advancement of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and replication and scalability.

MABEL K. EDMONDS EXCELLENCE IN EQUITY AWARD
The Mabel K. Edmonds Excellence in Equity award is presented to one community college to highlight and acknowledge their success in a workforce education program or initiative that demonstrates intentional and effective equity-conscious practices that mitigate inequities.

JAMES JACOBS SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
The James Jacobs Scholarship Award honors the outstanding scholarly contributions made in the area of workforce education by Dr. Jim Jacobs. This award supports and encourages doctoral research in areas such as Career Pathways, Workforce Development, Adult and Continuing Education, and Career/Technical Education. Applicants for the award must have achieved doctoral candidacy at the time of submission.
